Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to be published in a special issue of Fire Technology.


The Journal of Structural Fire Engineering will also be inviting selected papers to be submitted in extended form after the conference has ended.


“Best paper” and “best student paper” awards

The Journal of Structural Fire Engineering is sponsoring the best paper and the best student paper awards at SiF2020. The selection process will be chaired by the Chair of Scientific Committee and will include a certificate, a cash prize, and a 3-month subscription to the journal.

“Best presentation” and “best student presentation” awards

The International Association of Fire Safety Science (IAFSS) is sponsoring the best presentation and the best presentation awards at SiF2020. The awardees will be decided based on audience voting and will include a certificate and a cash prize.
